Justin and I met working together at a Brooklyn startup and, despite quite different career trajectories, quickly bonded over some overlapping interests:

• Our love for The Dead (not to be confused with our disdain for the abuse of the license)

• Sports with a high likelihood of injury (I love this quick “2-Minute Meditation” from Justin)

• Companies leveraging “AI” when we both know it’s just a team of interns (LMGTFY)

• Writing (that’s how we got here)

We know there are a lot of things you can subscribe to these days. Our promises to you: we’ll only write when we feel like we have something to share, we’ll write primarily for ourselves, and we won’t be offended if it’s not for you.

Substack suggests the following line: “In the meantime, tell your friends” but we insist on waiting until you read some more of our writing before putting your reputation on the line.
